I started this page because I see an understanding and experience of a fuller range of mind as key to addressing suffering of various kinds in our society, including the kind of suffering we label as "mental illness/disorder". Some say trying to define mind is a distraction, or it is too philosophical, without direct on impact on suffering and joy. I disagree. Definitions arise from knowledge and experience, and can shape the knowledge and experience of others. Either way, we'll never know until enough people from all walks of life chime in.
